New phase is started for the end-cap toroid assembly
The photo below shows the first step, the opening of the vacuum vessel and storage of its cover plate. On the photo one sees the open vessel, the cold mass, and the cover plate still on the crane. In the coming weeks the vessel shell will be moved over the cold mass. This is followed by the connection of the cold mass to the vessel and bringing all services out of the vessel.
